MGP welcomed Andrew Howell CPA to the team as Associate and Director of Finance. In this role, Andrew will have responsibilities for deal exeuction and provide back office financial and accouting support for MGP and it's portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Midwest Growth Partners, Andrew worked on the investment team at MiddleGround Capital, an industrials focused middle market private equity fund where he was responsible for prospective investment identification, sourcing and evaluation, deal underwriting and execution, and portfolio company monitoring and support. Before MiddleGround, Andrew was a Manager at CLA in the Private Equity group providing financial due diligence and portfolio company support services to private equity funds and at Deloitte in their assurance practice.
Andrew received his BSBA in Finance, Accounting, and Economics and Masters of Accounting from Drake University. Andrew is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Away from MGP, Andrew is an active member of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In his free time, Andrew is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to the beach with his family and friends. Andrew and his wife Cara are both eastern Iowa natives and live in Des Moines, Iowa with their son, James.
